Fashion Revolution Zimbabwe is about awareness, making people conscious of where their clothes are coming from and also encouraging retailers to source ethically made clothes. Fashion Revolution Zimbabwe aims to engage fashion stakeholders in order to bring the importance of ethical fashion to the table. We would like consumers to know who made their clothes and know where their clothes are coming from.
We would like to see everyone in Zimbabwe playing their part from the farmers to the textile manufacturers, designers; seamstresses and the consumer. We would like to see a positive change in the design industry by ensuring that everyone in the clothing industry is working in good conditions and is being treated fairly and most importantly we would consumers to make conscious decisions when buy an item of clothing.
