Erlebe eine einzigartige Mischung aus Tradition, Nachhaltigkeit und Handwerk! Die Junge Wirtschaft Innsbruck Stadt & Land lädt dich gemeinsam mit Fashion Revolution Austria ein, das Schafwollzentrum Umhausen im Ötztal zu besuchen und mehr über die wertvolle Ressource Wolle sowie die Bedeutung von nachhaltigem Handwerk zu erfahren. Den hier gilt das Motto: "From sheep to shop"

Die Veranstaltung findet im Rahmen der Fashion Revolution Week 2025 statt. Deren Aufgabe es ist die österreichische Modeindustrie unter einander zu vernetzen um das Thema Transparenz und Verantwortungsbewusstsein voranzutreiben.
Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung bieten wir eine spannende Betriebsbesichtigung mit Joachim und Manuela Regensburger, bei der du alles über die lokale Wolleproduktion und ihre Bedeutung für die Region erfährst. Zudem stellt Stephanie Höcker das innovative Projekt AUT-Wool vor, bei dem eine Weste aus Wolle vom Tiroler Bergschaf, die zu 100% in Österreich gewachsen ist, hergestellt wurde.

Nutze die Gelegenheit, um dich mit anderen auszutauschen und neue Erkenntnisse zu gewinnen. Nach der Besichtigung und Vorstellung des Projekts laden wir zu einer offenen Fragerunde ein, bevor wir den Nachmittag bei einem gemütlichen Get-together mit Brötchen und Getränken ausklingen lassen.

Visit to the Umhausen Sheep Wool Center

Experience a unique blend of tradition, sustainability, and craftsmanship! Young Business Innsbruck City & Country, together with Fashion Revolution Austria, invites you to visit the Umhausen Sheep Wool Center in the Ötztal Valley and learn more about the valuable resource of wool and the importance of sustainable craftsmanship. The motto here is: "From sheep to shop."

The event takes place as part of Fashion Revolution Week 2025, whose mission is to connect the Austrian fashion industry to advance transparency and responsibility.
As part of the event, we offer an exciting factory tour with Joachim and Manuela Regensburger, where you'll learn all about local wool production and its importance for the region. Stephanie Höcker will also present the innovative AUT-Wool project, which produces a vest made from wool from Tyrolean mountain sheep, grown 100% in Austria.

Take the opportunity to exchange ideas with others and gain new insights. After the tour and presentation of the project, we invite you to a Q&A session before concluding the afternoon with a cozy get-together with sandwiches and drinks.
