Mend in Public, Adelaide

Mending our clothes and textiles is a practical demonstration that fast fashion is not sustainable. This is the 12th Anniversary of the Rana Plaza Disaster in which hundreds of poorly paid and oppressed textile workers were killed in the name of fast fashion. And with over 92 million tons of textiles going to waste each year, now is the time to act! Come and Mend in Public with us, followed by a BYO picnic lunch at the State Library.
