Calling all Londoners: join us in making loved clothes last on Mend in Public Day!

Get ready for a day of free repair & upcycling stations, interactive workshops and panel discussions taking place across Angel Central’s piazza and Islington Climate Centre (next to Wagamamas). You’ll be joined and guided by Street Stitching, Colechi, Craftivist Collective and the University of East London with more partners to be announced shortly.

Mend in Public Day stands as a beacon of change in a world inundated with fashion waste. By participating, you’ll be part of a global creative action resisting the cycle of excess through repair and reuse.

We’ll bring the sewing supplies; you bring the repair pile and enthusiasm to mend your clothes and mend the system. All skill levels and Fashion Revolutionaries welcome!
