Mend-in-Public in Downtown Kingston

Collective of BIPOC creators who are passionate about liberation, human rights, crafting, and cats!

We are taking part in "Mend in Public Day"- and are hosting a local event here in Kingston (in collaboration with the Levana Gender Advocacy Centre)!

It will be held on Saturday, April 26th, 2025 from 10 am to 1 pm (you can drop in at any point during this period) at McBurney Park ("Skeleton Park"); there will be a rain location for indoor participation should the weather not be favourable. We will arrange a limited number of materials for participants to keep (e.g. sewing kits, crochet hooks, and knitting needles) which will be available on a first come, first serve basis. We encourage you to bring your own materials if possible!
