Bushwood Tailors Opportunity Shop in New Bedford, MA is the sister service to New York City tailoring agency, Bushwood Tailors.
This is our experimental tailor shop and retail space that connects our love of the handcrafted, our deep concern for the pervasiveness of fast fashion and its culture, with our skills for mending, repairing, altering and upcycling clothing and textiles. We’re here to connect and collaborate with our local community of makers and artists, folks who are interested in a more ethical way of creating - one that nurtures our planet.

More details:
• Up to 2 items can be mended per household.
Possible repairs include mending zippers, replacing buttons, mending holes, and reversing shirt collars (for worn or stained collars).
New Bedford and Dartmouth residents only. Proof of residency is required.
