On Saturday 20th April we’re hosting “Re-Work with Round Retail” a full day dedicated to fixing, customising, re-working, mending and ultimately loving clothes for longer.
We have the most amazing line up of innovative brands in store on the day to appliqué, patch, darn and dazzle.
- Grandpa’s Shirts will be on hand to teach you the art of appliqué and help add customisations that will make you love your item longer. The details: 11am-1pm & 2pm-4pm slots available. Bring your own item and book ahead at www.grandpasshirts.com for £20 to secure your spot.
- Lisa from Rebel Patch will be offering free upcycling sessions with 50-70% off selected patches on the day. Bring your pre-loved, damaged or unloved clothes that could do with a revamp and give it a new lease of life through wearable art patches. The details: First come, first serve, 11am-5pm, while stocks last.
We’ll also have a fully re-worked edit to shop online and in store, celebrating materials they may otherwise be discarded. Expect items from Rebel Patch, Grandpa’s Shirts, Scrunch by Stasie, MC Embroider My Studio, Pivot, Kim Rana Crochet, Luna June Jewels and many more.
About us: Round Retail is a charitable fashion resale platform aiming to bridge the gap between online resale and charity stores.
We pop-up all over the UK raising money and awareness for charities that don't have shops of their own.
The idea is the funds raised stay in the local community and can address area-specific needs.
This store is in support of Providence Row, a charity based in East London tackling the root causes of homelessness to help people get off and stay off the streets, offering crisis support, advice & recovery/training programmes.
