This action brings the peculiarity of working with manual crafts in a different way, stimulating the creativity and artistic expression of the community of workers in the textile and clothing industry. As we are in the clothing hub of rural Pernambuco, it wouldn't make much sense for these people, who already work sewing every day, for example, to focus on sewing at yet another moment in their lives.
Thus, visual artists, embroiderers, designers and the community come together to create patchwork panels, highlighting creative ways of intervening in clothes, and encouraging the reuse of fabrics and textile waste.
