Sustainable Fashion Institute will launch a unique educational and research space – SFI LAB, an interactive library of innovative materials. This one-of-a-kind exhibition will offer participants the chance to discover cutting-edge solutions in the textile industry and explore the future of sustainable fashion.
Visitors will be able to view samples of materials such as innovative leathers made from mushrooms, apples, and cactus, as well as fabrics derived from sugarcane, corn, tea, or mango. Additionally, we will showcase finished products made from alternative raw materials, available through Answear’s collection.
Microscopes will allow participants to examine the unique structures, textures, and weaves of the materials. All samples will be presented in an educational format to promote sustainable practices in fashion. SFI LAB will remain open throughout the duration of the event, inviting attendees to engage and explore textile innovation.
In addition to the material library, we will also host discussion panels as part of the Fashion Revolution Week 2025 celebrations.
