What will we do?
🌿 Bring a garment to repair or come without: we will teach you repair techniques to extend the life of your clothes and reduce waste.
🧵 We will share knowledge, stories and concrete actions to make fashion more ethical and sustainable.

You don't have to be a sewing expert: all skill levels are welcome! Come with us to give new life to your clothes and build a more responsible future for fashion.

The Poliarmadio initiative joins the 25 April celebrations by organising on this occasion a Resistant Mending with the creation of a collective work! The event will be held at the Centro Fonti San Lorenzo from 12:30 until 19:00.

Under Fashion Revolution Week, möts vi på Second First för Mend In Public Day; vår årliga protestdag då vi tillsammans agerar för förändring!

Idén är enkel: vi ger oss ut och syr som en protest mot slit-och-släng-modet.

Mitt bland lördagsshoppande människor lagar vi trasiga fickor och sömmar – och väcker samtal om hur vi kan få våra älskade kläder att hålla längre!

During Fashion Revolution Week, we meet at Second First for Mend In Public Day; our annual protest day where we act together for change!

The idea is simple: we go out and sew as a protest against throwaway fashion.

In the middle of Saturday shopping people, we mend torn pockets and seams – and spark conversations about how we can make our beloved clothes last longer!

As part of the Fashion Revolution Brasília 2025 program, the morning of April 26th will be dedicated to a special gathering with the Linhas da Resistência Collective — a group of embroiderers, artists, activists, and militants who transform embroidery into a political language and a tool for empowerment.

The event will take place within the Ponta Norte Agroecological Fair, a symbolic space for the intersection of sustainable practices, solidarity economy, and grassroots resistance.

The gathering invites everyone into an open and heartfelt exchange of knowledge, where participants can learn about the embroiderers' creative process, the meanings stitched into their cloaks and textile cartographies, and experience embroidery as a collective act of listening, resistance, and memory-building.

Be part of a global movement with Mend in Public Day, a Fashion Revolution initiative aimed at tackling fast fashion—one stitch at a time.

Bring your clean clothing project and join us for an afternoon of mindful mending! Not sure what to bring? A missing button, a ripped seam, or a moth-nibbled sweater—whatever needs a little TLC, we’re here to guide you. Please note that while we’ll be offering tips and support, we won’t be mending items for you. Be sure to bring the necessary supplies for your project.

고쳐입는 날은 패션레볼루션 위크에 속하는 매년 공동 행동의 날입니다. 아이디어는 간단합니다. 지역사회로 나가 일회용 패션에 반대하는 바느질로 항의하는 것입니다. 바쁜 토요일 쇼핑객들 사이에서 찢어진 주머니와 끊어진 솔기를 수선하고, 헌 옷을 오래 입는 방법에 대한 대화를 나누는 것입니다.

This year, Fashion Revolution Korea are asking YOU to host your own Mend in Public event. Gather your friends and neighbours, get together in a public place and mend your old clothes together. Share photos of your event with Fashion Revolution South Korea. Help us mark Mend in Public Day nationwide! Mend In Public Day is our annual day of collective action which falls within Fashion Revolution Week. The idea is simple: get out into your local community and stitch in protest against disposable fashion. Amidst busy Saturday shoppers, we will repair our torn pockets and broken seams and spark conversations on making Loved Clothes Last.

Join us at the SUNY Plattsburgh Learning Center from 12:30 to 2:00 to try your hand at mending. Drop in during that time and bring an item to fix or make a patch to take home! All supplies are provided.
