Kawandi Quilt-Craft Workshop

An introductory workshop on the Indo-African quilting technique, a hand-stitched method known for its rich textures and vibrant patterns. This technique is inherently sustainable, allowing for creative re-use of fabric scraps and minimizing textile waste. Participants will learn the basics of this mindful craft and create their own small Kawandi piece, gaining hands-on experience in both the technique and its potential for waste reduction.
