The products of Cho’jac items are a reinterpretation of traditional Mexican wickerwork. It consists of sustainable sisal derived from the Agave cactus, vegetable tanned leather as well as linen from flax that is cultivated in Europe. All items get their final touch in small manufactories in the region of Berlin. All components are highly durable and either repairable or replaceable. The metal rivets can be unscrewed and reused. A share of the proceeds will be used to provide free, low-threshold classes for the local population in the Chiapas region of Mexico, with the aim of revitalizing the wickerwork tradition and preserving this unique cultural technique.

Cultural IP Month 2023 is a labour of love! A GIFT to the international community of thinkers, creators, craft custodians and anyone with open hearts and open souls to start a mindshift revolution.
