The much anticipated clothes swap is here!
Kindly hosted by Anini Raka Resort and Spa, we have the luxury of not only picking up some new treats for our wardrobe (and dishing out the old), but also lounging by the pool socialising with one another, coconuts in hand. With the option to stay on into the evening if you wish to join the “People Who Care” Ubud Meet-Up (link to this event will be posted in the comments shortly).
This is a FREE clothes swap, only bring items that you’re willing to exchange or donate without financial compensation. Consider bringing those items that you’ve had sitting in your wardrobe unworn for months/years however can’t bare to just throw them out.
The general rule of thumb for items to bring is that they be in a good enough condition that you would be happy to lend the item to a friend. Please don’t bring along tattered, worn out, holey clothing. The rest of the rules/guidelines will be pinned up at the venue.
Please arrive on time, we will organise the clothes & other items into categories before starting the swap. I suggest wearing a swimsuit under your outfit so you can try things on freely over the top (and go for a swim too!).
Any items you bring that aren’t taken at the end of the swap you may take back home or we will donate them to charity.
This is not a public event (i.e. we aren’t advertising it far and wide) however feel free to invite girlfriends you think would like to join.
Fee to use the pool is 50k which includes towel.
What can I bring?
Ladies clothing, accessories, jewellery, shoes and beauty products.
How many items do I need to bring?
Preferably a minimum of four items to be able to participate freely in the clothes swap. Any less and you will be allowed to participate by taking only as many items as you brought.
Do they need to be a certain size?
Nope, every shape and size is welcome and encouraged.
What if someone else wants the same item as I do?
Winner of a coin toss will receive it.
POST ANY MORE QUESTIONS YOU HAVE IN THE COMMENTS.
