RiverBlue is a haunting and groundbreaking documentary that exposes a major environmental tragedy: The manufacturing of our clothing is literally destroying rivers around the globe. Fresh off seven award wins on the festival circuit, this critically acclaimed feature has partnered with Fashion Revolution to present a one-day theatrical event in Miami on Sunday November 19th.
Fashion Revolution is a global movement that runs all year long. We celebrate fashion as a positive influence while also scrutinizing industry practices and raising awareness of the fashion industry’s most pressing issues. We aim to show that change is possible and encourage those who are on a journey to create a more ethical and sustainable future for fashion.
The UpCycle Project encourages creatives, designers and students to rethink the wastage that is created by the fashion industry through re-using or ‘upcycling’ textiles and garments that would have otherwise gone to the landfill. Through exhibitions, fashion shows and events, The UpCycle Project invites the audience to experience sustainability & style in an exciting and fashion-forward context.
