The aim of our festival is to take sustainable fashion mainstream by bringing new solutions through discussions between textile makers, designers, historians, journalists and people interested in proving that fashion may be fast, but it can be sustainable and ethical.
The first day will be dedicated to discussions between professionals and the second day is open to public participation by way of POP ups and a Fashion show and workshops. The topics we will focus on are sustainable materials, technology, mobilising mass-market brands and the image of sustainable fashion in mainstream India. This event is our first little step towards bringing awareness about conscious consumption in India especially among young generation, half of whom are under 25.
Our future initiative will include workshops at schools and community events to help take this idea to the masses.
