About Fashion Revolution UAE

Fashion Revolution UAE is part of a global movement reimagining fashion as a force for people and planet. We connect community, knowledge and action to make visible the realities behind our clothes and inspire a more just, transparent and regenerative fashion system.

From 22–28 April 2026, we invite you to join a week of conversations, workshops, screenings, community moments and creative experiences exploring the future of fashion through the lens of collective action. This year’s programme connects fashion with climate, waste, water, consumer behaviour, community building and innovation, creating space for reflection, participation and meaningful exchange across the UAE.

Opening our Fashion Revolution Week 2026 programme on Earth Day, this online panel explores how deeply interconnected today’s challenges really are. Bringing together voices from fashion, food, energy, water and waste, the conversation invites us to reflect on the systems we are part of and the role we can play in shaping more resilient futures.

Fashion Revolution Week Big Day

Our big community day brings together many of the things we love most: connection, creativity, learning, exchange and joy. Hosted at Blumi Cafe, the day will include a sustainable fashion friends social breakfast, textile exploration workshop, design competition virtual runway, clothing swap, clothes collection, sashiko workshop, community showcase, collective Earth banner creation and more.

Scroll, Want, Buy, Repeat: How Social Media Trends Impact Consumer Behaviour

The week closes with the online grand finale of Dress to Fly, Fashion Revolution UAE’s fashion design competition inviting participants to rethink airline uniforms for the GCC through a more sustainable and innovative lens.

Supported by The F* Word, a niche AI fashion platform helping creators visualise and develop fashion concepts, the competition embraces digital creativity and AI-supported fashion ideation while keeping human creativity, sustainability thinking and meaningful design at its core.

One of the key highlights of this year’s programme is Dress to Fly, our fashion design competition inviting participants to rethink airline uniforms for the GCC through a more sustainable and innovative lens. Supported by The F* Word, the competition brings together fashion, creativity and technology while keeping human imagination and sustainability at the centre.

Fashion Revolution raises awareness about the impact of the global fashion industry on both people and planet, while inspiring more conscious, connected and responsible ways of engaging with fashion. Through conversations, workshops, screenings and community gatherings, Fashion Revolution Week UAE brings together educators, designers, academics, writers, marketers, makers, workers, students, brands and fashion lovers in a collective effort to imagine and build a better future for fashion.

The fashion industry is one of the most influential industries in the world. It shapes culture, economies, environments and everyday lives. It also carries enormous responsibility.
