Singapore officially joined the revolution in January 2014! Through social media campaigns and events, the Fashion Revolution SG team engages island-wide, calling for greater transparency, sustainability and ethics in the fashion industry.

“The Lion City” is one of the central business hubs of Asia, developing from a rural town with squatters to the modern cosmopolitan city state that it is today in less than a century.Fashion is a big business in Singapore, with the apparel market valued at US$2,705m in 2020 {Source: Statista}. However, what is also interesting, is that shopping is considered a national hobby, with 49% of the population stating it as a favourite hobby {Source: Statista}. By engaging directly with consumers, the opportunity to effect change locally at scale is not one to be overlooked. The Fashion Revolution SG team is pleased to collaborate with all stakeholders – from consumers to brands, to schools, suppliers and associations – to make fashion a force for good.
