Welcome to Fashion Revolution Kuwait!
On April 24, 2013 the Rana Plaza complex collapsed in Dhaka, Bangladesh, taking 1,134 lives and leaving more than 2,500 injured. This is a fraction of the price people pay for fashion.
Help us put an end to the exploitation of human and natural resources by promoting transparency within the fashion industry at all levels. Be curious about the clothes and accessories you wear. Ask questions.
Show your support by following us on social media and learn more about how you can contribute.
Display: Fashion Footprint
Drop by our display at ALMAKAN from 18-23 April to learn more about the impact of the fashion industry on the people and the planet. Interact: Take a photo in our photo booth and ask the brands about the story behind your clothes. Our goal is to fill up the wall with #whomademyclothes photos!
Screening: The True Cost
On April 24 we will be screening “The True Cost.” A documentary filmed in countries all over the world, The True Cost tells the story behind the clothes we wear.
This is a free event, but you will need to register to secure your spot, as seating is limited!
