Welcome to Fashion Revolution Ireland!
Fashion Revolution Ireland is co-ordinated by Re-dress.
Re-dress; the Better Fashion Initiative has been working to promote better industry practice since 2008. Over the last 6 years, they have engaged youth groups, the public and some of the biggest names in the fashion industry in conversations about why and how the industry can, and should, be better. Through educational engagement and social interaction, workshops, projects, exhibitions and public campaigns, they endeavor to promote meaningful change towards better practices and a sustainable future for the fashion industry. Re-dress hold the secretariat of the Irish Clean Clothes Campaign, which is part of a coalition of 16 European CCC’s that fight for the rights of garment manufacturers worldwide. April 2016 sees the Re-dress team running 40 workshops across the country to communicate the conscious consumption message to second-level students and get them asking the question ‘Who Made My Clothes?’ Check out their Instagram to stay up to date with their project: redress.ie
