Welcome to Fashion Revolution Egypt!

Egypt has always been known for it’s outstanding cotton, ever since the Ancient Egyptians. Even though the cotton industry has declined due to several political reasons, Egypt is still a known for producing garments and fabric (which of most we export). There are brands like GAP and ZARA that produce their garments here.

On the other hand with a growing population of 90 million (this doesn’t include the ones that don’t actually have an ID), of those 26% percent live in poverty, and a with barely diminishing middle class, the population depends mostly on imported cheap clothes from China.  Nevertheless, there has been a fast growing interest in fashion within middle and upper classes in Egypt, a lot of fashion figures have been influencing the mass through social media channels. There is also a growing interest towards Fashion Design, the least we could do is SPREAD AWARENESS, BECOME AN INFLUENCE FOR GOOD, and not let our acts destroy what is left in humanity around us.

طول عمرها مصر معروفة بصناعة احسن الاقطان في العالم، حتي من بداية قدماء المصريين . على الرغم من أن صناعة القطن انخفض صناعته بسبب عدة أسباب سياسية، مصرلسة معروفة لانتاج الملابس الجاهزة والنسيج (مع ان اغلابيته بيتصدر).

بتنتج الملابس هنا ZARA و GAP حتي في ماركات زي

  منهم و طبعا بكثافة سكانية ٩٠ مليون (دا غير المش مسجلين اصلا) في ٢٦٪ من الشعب المصري بيعيش تحت خط الفقر

 دا غير طبعا الطبقة المتوسطة اللي في المجتمع اللي بتختفي معظم الشعب بقي معتمد علي الملابس الرخيصة المتصنعة في الصين و برغم ده في اهتمام زايد عند الطبقات المتوسطة و الغنية للازياء و الموضة و ظهر شخصيات كتيرة شباب كتير بيتبعهم وليها دور كبير في التائثير علي الموضة  علي السوشيال ميديا و ابتدا يزداد عدد مصممين الازياء كمان

فعلي الاقل نحاول نستغل الفرصة دي و نزود الوعي شوية عن ازاي نطور موضة مستدامة و نوجه الصيحة دي لحاجة مفيدة للناس و للبيئة و منخليش افعالنا اللاواعية تدمر كل ما هو اتبقي من النسانية
